Maiden Minnesota, one of my favorite events of the year, will be here in just a few weeks! I’ve been lucky to go in the past and it’s incredible to see firsthand the enthusiasm and support attendees have for the locally owned businesses at the event. Not only can you accomplish crossing off your entire holiday gift list at Maiden Minnesota, but you will be supporting local businesses and get this – a portion of your admission also supports a fantastically deserving non-profit.
Now in its seventh year, Maiden Minnesota offers a boutique-like shopping event with companies featuring fashion, beauty products, jewelry, accessories, home décor, specialty food items and more made by leading women-owned businesses. The event also helps support and raise awareness for The Makers Coalition, a local, non-profit movement to restore and build the industrial sewing heritage of America while training and employing a creative and skilled workforce for today and future generations.
35 companies will be participating and more than 1,200 people are expected to attend this year’s event. Want to be one of those people? It’s your lucky day. I have two tickets to give away! Available $20 in advance online, $30 at the door and includes one drink ticket. $5 from each ticket goes directly to Makers Coalition. 200 gift bags are available for sale on the website with an additional $10 donation to Makers Coalition. More information available at www.MaidenMinnesota.com.
